I'll be signing copies of SEW: sew everything workshop (pssst! the book is out now) and debuting items from our soon-to-be-launched online store. please come and help us celebrate the holiday season. we'd love to see you!

I'm also super proud to announce that I've been invited to teach a series
of embroidery workshops at nyc's museum of art in design starting with
an intro class on thu 12/6. the workshops are running in conjuction with
the current exhibition pricked: extreme embroidery, which is an AMAZING
show. if you're interested in the overlap between fine art and craft,

many of you have been asking about the 2008 schedule. I'm hard at work on it, along with an entire redesign of the MAKE website. stay tuned!

in december MAKE will turn into santa's workshop thanks to one-time-only classes in soapmaking, earrings, men's sewn ties, pillow making and more. here are the classes that still have room for more!:
